The Savinelli 9mm filter is a filter system based on the properties of balsa wood. It allows the natural absorption, without additives or chemicals, of humidity and the annoying drizzle that forms inside the mouthpiece; it also ensures less encrustation and therefore greater cleanliness.

This absorption power comes from the numerous porous fibers of the balsa wood, which guarantee a perfect smoke without altering the fragrance and aroma of the tobacco.

This patented filter system has been tested by both the EURATOM Research Center in Ispra (VA) and the CHEMICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY Inc. research center in the United States, with approximately the same result: "...the filter has the ability to absorb 77% of the nicotine and 91% of the condensation contained in the tobacco without altering its flavor...".
