Colvados Le compte 5 years is aged in new French oak barrels, it is the French oak barrel that is the source of its aromas and the delicate vanilla taste of the island of Reunion.
Finally, a passage in large barrels (called: red battery) generates the body of this 5 year old Calvados, an enveloping and warm calvados, persistent in the mouth.
It can be combined with the 5 year old calvados Lecompte with the excellent Romeo & Julieta cedros de lux n. 3.
