Cadenhead's

This excellent Cognac Denis Charpentier Extra petit Champagne has been specially developed for decades in a single oak barrel.

Distilled in 1979, it was bottled in November 2019 in only 264 bottles.

Cadenhead's Cognac has been aged for 40 years with Denis Charpentier's "passion for authenticity" to offer the best of its taste and aromas.

Time, 40 years of aging, and the barrel have created a masterpiece, a superlative cognac!

The DENIS CHARPENTIER range of spirits has been awarded numerous trophies and gold medals at the London International Wine and Spirits Competition.

All its Cognacs de petit Champagne are made with a subtle blend of cognac to achieve a delicate taste and a delicate aroma.

The Denis Charpentier estate covers 20 hectares handed down over time and over the generations of Croizet, consisting of 20 hectares of vineyards in the Fins Bois growing area located in Petite Champagne.

This family-run cognac distillation company uses organic methods to grow the vines.

The use of biological and tradition-related procedures is something that members of the Charpentier family are proud of.

Cognac distilled by Charpentier, is aged by Cadenhead's in single cask which produces only 200 bottles.

The cognac was bottled unfiltered with the full degree of vol. 61.6%.

A full grade that enhances the qualities of this rare Cadenhead's 40 years old Cognac.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Liquid gold, amber.

Aroma: Honey, with a hint of fragrant hay and white fruit.

Palate: Herbaceous and mentholated, with raisins, and with notes of melon and brown sugar.

Final: Long and slightly astringent, with notes of molasses, vanilla, and a persistent menthol.

The ideal Cognac for esteemed guests at the end of a rich dinner, or for the lustful meditative moments of the host, perhaps in combination with a Romeo and Julieta Churchill.
