Cognac Grande Champagne Premier Cru, exceptional. The quintessence of Frapin's style.
Produced exclusively in the heart of the Premier Cru of Cognac, with all the experience of the Maison Frapin.
The best Cru of the whole Cognac region is called Grande Champagne and in the heart of this region there is the Premier Cru area, the largest estate is called Château de Fontpinot, the estate owned by the Frapin family.
The Frapin family estate covers 300 hectares, of which 200 are planted with a single grape variety, Ugni Blanc, and is located right in the Grande Champagne area.
It is undoubtedly thanks to these privileges, constant concern and respect for the best traditions that the Maison Frapin is today internationally famous as a producer of excellent cognac.
No other cognac distillery can claim to control the integrity of its production as the Maison Frapin can do.
From the vine to the barrel and then to the bottle, the entire production chain of the Frapin distillery is devoted to the pursuit of perfection.
The aging of spirits is the most important stage in the production of Frapin Cognacs.
There are, in fact, two types of cellars in Château de Fontpinot:
The first is located on the ground floor, with a very humid clay soil, which allows the spirits to round off and soften.
The second is located under the roofs, with a very different atmosphere, very dry, with changes in temperature which allow the Cognac to breathe and to let its most aerial elements evaporate, what the inhabitants of Charente call "the part of the angels".
From this dual method of aging the distillate comes the Premier Cru cognac of gran champagne X.o. Frapin.
The cognac X.o. Frapin is bottled at full 41% to maintain and enhance all the delicate flavors of the cognac.
Complex, fruity and floral, discrete notes of vanilla.
Perfect for any occasion, from an aperitif to a meal or even after dinner.
It can be combined with Cognac X.o. Grande Champagne Premier Cru by Frapin with a Davidoff Nicaragua cigar or a Samuel Gawith Perfection pipe tobacco.
