The Highland Park is the northernmost distillery in Scotland in the wild Orkney Islands and offers a product of absolute quality.
Tasting Notes:
The nose is a profusion of ripe floral notes and fresh flowers with a delicious fruit salad.
Notes of exotic honey fruit with a little bit of botrytis.
On the palate the 18 year old Highland Park is creamy and full of fruit preserves and espresso. A creaminess with cinnamon and allspice.
Notes of caramel with dense black forest honey with a more citrus touch.
The 18 year old Highland Park finish is long and nicely sweetened with a herb rim.
An 18 year old Higland Park Whiskey to pair with a good Rattray's London Eye Tobacco and a Savinelli pipe.
