He started sculpting pipes relatively late but today he is one of the most quoted emerging Italian briar pipe producers and at the peak of success.

Francesco Ganci had important teachers including his friend Mimmo Romeo.

The reason for his success is due to his ability to masterfully handle tools, chisels and knives, to his pragmatism, his imagination and his continuous search for quality.

In complete solitude, drawing inspiration from nature or the surrounding world, in the luthier workshop, he thinks and realizes his new pipes ... true works of art.

He sculpts the shapes with a knife, by hand, using exclusively Italian briar with its right seasoning provided by Mimmo Romeo.

The minimum seasoning of the briar is 5 years and takes place at controlled temperature and humidity.

Starting from the technical part, to which he gives a lot of importance to always have a pleasant smoke, Francesco Ganci creates pipes respecting the grain and the design of the briar.

Before producing and marketing a pipe, Francesco Ganci, with the experience of the luthier, tastes the softness and flexibility of the briar then, as a great passionate smoker, tests the shape, the manageability, the lines, the angles, the dimensions, the balance of tobacco pipe.

The result is exceptional pipes, technically and qualitatively perfect, very light and elegant pipes.

Completely handcrafted with a knife, the Bulldog pipe by F.Ganci has taut lines, clean lines, perfect ninety degree angles.

The Bulldog short model Ganci pipe has a light veined finish, typical of seasoned natural briar.

Ganci added a completely handcrafted saddle mouthpiece from a block of ebonite.

This makes the pipe very elegant, an everyday pipe, suitable for showing off in the afternoon, as an aperitif.

Ganci's straight olive tree pipe smokes very well.
