Ser Jacopo was founded by Giancarlo Guidi and Bruto Sordini in 1984.

Following the detachment of Sordini was guided by Guidi only.
From Mastro de Paja, and at the same workshop where the pipe was born in Pesaro, he created Ser Jacopo della Gemma.

Once again a brilliant idea in choosing the name and logo: a painting depicting an ancient nobleman, a serious name Ser Jacopone.

Ser Jacopo is more immediately perceptible and once again the name immediately imputes in the public's memory, as well as the logo it represents.
