It is an AOC agricultural rum from Martinique, patiently aged for a minimum of 6 years in 180 liter oak barrels.

After the rum Clemente is again put in ex bourbon oak barrels but much smaller, for another two years, finally bottled.

The denomination X.O. indicates a minimum aging of six years, a maximum of ten years in cask.

With this method, the delicate hint of wood that the distillate acquires during the first phase of maturation, is combined with the softness given to it by aging in second passage barrels.

The Très Vieux Rhum Agricole XO rum acquires strong hints of raisins and vanilla.
