The famous limited edition of Macallan Edition N ° 5 of 2019.

Macallan Edition N ° 5 whiskey is launched in 2019 and following the modernization of the Macallan production.

Aimed at a refined and evolved consumer, Whiskey Macallan Edition N ° 5 is born from aging in new American barrels and subsequently passes through several different barrels.

Aged in American barrels, bottled at 48.5% and dedicated to color (purple label, created in collaboration with Pantone).

There is also talk of a N ° 6, the details of which are however very meager at the moment.

Nice how the alcohol percentage increases from edition to edition reflecting the number in the decimals.

Each bottle comes with a refined purple and gold gift box.

Macallan Edition N ° 5 2019 whiskey is always pleasant and appreciated by every passionate whiskey drinker.

Deep gold in the glass.

An explosion of vanilla on the nose, from a sweet soaked in alcohol (like a baba with cream or a malaga), a drop of honey, raisins, cinnamon, candied orange. Alcohol does not give a step even after a while, while always remaining linked to the pastry vocation of whiskey.

On the palate it is practically a cake distillate, even more than on the nose, oriented on the trifle with massive presence of orange and vanilla cream, with alcohol that gives a slight liveliness but without overdoing it. Linear aromas, without any significant variation even letting it breathe.

Medium length finish, with raisins, vanilla, hazelnut.

Macallan whiskey to combine with an excellent Romeo Y Juleta cedros de luxe cigar or with a good Peterson night cap tobacco.
