This KILCHOMAN Triskele Cask Italian Exclusive single malt is limited edition for Italian importer Beija-flor, aged for 5 years in three different barrels and is bottled at full strength of 48.3% abv.

Kilchoman Triskele Cask Italian Exclusive is therefore Cask Strength.

Produced exclusively for the Italian importer Beija-flor in very few bottles, it was distilled on 2 February 2018 and bottled on 2 October 2023.

The exclusive edition of the excellent KilchomaTriskele Cask Italian Exclusive, this single malt was left to mature in three different barrels, Str red wine, Bourbo and ex sherry and then bottled in 2023, it is not cold filtered and the amber color is natural .

Traditionally, it is a whiskey that has been aged for approximately 5 years, 75% in ex-bourbon barrels and 5% in ex-Sherry Oloroso barrels: a vatting which is then combined with the remaining 20%, a further type of special barrel, namely the STR (Shaved, Toasted & Re-charred ex-Red Wine).

A trio of aging barrels that recalls the Celtic symbol of the Triskell, present as a logo on every bottle of Kilchoman and symbolizing the unity of three elements.

The nose is peaty with notes of fruit and spices.

The nose is rich and deep, perfectly combining the flavors of sherry with those of peat and spices.

The finish is long, sweet and persistent, balanced.

Triskele Cask Italian Exclusive is a rare limited edition of Kilchoman single malt produced in just 1260 bottles.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Notes of peat and jam, fruit jam, ripe fruit.

Palate: Thick and full. Biscuit, Plasmon biscuit and then soft, velvety peat.
