With the recovery in 2008 production, Glenglassaugh distillery wanted to celebrate with his Evolution whiskey novelties included in the new production.
Glenglassaugh Evolution is an exclusive series of malts matured in barrels of different varieties.
Evolution this whiskey was aged in barrels of first passage of the George Dickel Tennessee Whisky.
The George Dickel Tennessee Whisky is famous for its soft and enveloping aged bourbon.
From these former bourbon whiskey barrels Glenglassaugh Evolutiontrae its notes of vanilla and caramel that fascinate with every sip.
Evolution whiskey is bottled at 50%. Not cold filtered and without added flavors or artificial colors.
Tasting notes:
Color: golden malt.
Aroma: Sweet, vanilla, caramel and fudge interwoven with fruit: golden apples, caramelized pears and coconut.
Palate: Creamy and sweet. Caramel fudge and vanilla. banana, pear and green apple and then coconut and anise.
Finale: Round and sweet with delicate traces of coconut and licorice.
