

This single malt Kilchoman Sanaig ex Bourbon and sherry cask is a very balanced edition of this Islay distillery, aged for years in ex-bourbon casks and in Oloroso Sherry casks and bottled at the full strength of 46% vol.
Sanaig takes its name from a rocky inlet not far from the distillery. Assembly of malts aged in first fill ex bourbon casks and ex Oloroso casks with a clear predominance of the latter
Latest edition of the excellent Kilchoman Sanaig, this single malt was placed to mature in ex bourbon casks for about 30% of the blend and aged in ex Oloroso Sherry casks for 70%, bottled at full strength, it is not cold filtered and the amber color is natural.
On the nose it is peaty with notes of fruit and spices.
On the nose it is rich and deep, perfectly combining the flavors of bourbon, vanilla and honey with the aromas of sherry and with notes of peat and spices.
The finish is long, sweet and persistent, balanced, unforgettable.
The edition of Kilchoman Sanaig ex Bourbon and sherry cask won a medal at the International Wine and Spirit Competition.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Notes of peat and jam, fruit marmalade, ripe fruit.
Palate: Thick and full. Biscuit, Plasmon biscuit and then soft, velvety peat.
Kilchoman Sanaig ex Bourbon and sherry cask can be paired with a great cigar for a heavenly tasting experience.
