Caroni 17 Y.O. Trinidad Vol.55% Cl. 70

Distilled in February 1998 this limited edition of Caroni Rum is aged 17 years entirely in tropical weather, Trinidad.

In November 2015 are bottled in full grade 55% a few bottles, when they discover 2 errors, the first error in against label and a second on the top of the box.

For the label you produce a leaflet of errata, while for the box a small black sticker that says "extra strong 110 proof".

The few bottles produced become a rarity as the collectible stamps and are now all sold to collectors. This is the latest available.

This incredible rum caroni Extra Strong of 17 years was bottled in Scotland in 2015 at high level (55% high proof) to keep intact all its gustatory notes and its scents. It must therefore taste it keeping in mind that it has a high gradation.

Enveloping and intense balsmico, this rum cult version of the island of Trinidad and Tobago is characterized by a woody taste, raisins nuts, dates and resin notes. On the nose are well perceptible scents of molasses, tar, coffee, candied fruit and chocolate, very ripe banana and vanilla.

To pair with a cigar Padron Anniversary or a new Partagas D6, but if you are a lover of slow smoking you would suggest to Peterson De Luxe Mixture.
