The Springbank has now become a cult distillery among enthusiasts who are conquered by its unique taste and by the distillery itself, rustic, chaotic and traditional but cured and of great quality.

Springbank 12 Years Old Green is a new expression of the Campbeltown region distillery introduced in 2014.

The growing sensitivity for organic products has prompted Springbank distillery to seek out the best organic malt.

This single malt was distilled using malt from organic cultivation.

Hence the name GREEN. Matured exclusively in ex bourbon barrels, it is not cold filtered and bottled at 46% vol.

The Springbank 12 Years Old Green is a limited edition of 9,000 bottles.

On the nose the Green 12 y.o. it is an authentic Springbank, earthy notes, peat and the classic saltiness.

On the palate Springbank 12 Years Old Green is fruity with notes of apricots, peaches and hints of butter, lots of butter.

The finish of Springbank 12 Years Old Green is long and complex with a persistent sweetness and saltiness.

Springbank 12 Years Old Green can be paired with refined and interesting cigars such as NUb Maduro or Camacho Criollo cigars.
