New version of the classic Macallan 12 y.o. whiskey double cask.

Macallan 12 Years Old Double Cask is a single malt Scotch whiskey aged for at least 12 years in a combination of barrels.

At the discretion of the Master Distillers, European ex-sherry and American casks are used, also ex-sherry, no ex-bourbon, aging is totally sherry.

Macallan 12 Years Old Double Cask Single Malt Scotch Whiskey is distilled in the new distillery and after 12 years of aging it is bottled to full degree.

Macallan Single Malt Scotch Whiskey is delicious when drunk pure, and when stretched with water it is characterized by hints of green apple, kiwi, pineapple, vanilla and eucalyptus, and is characterized by refreshing flavors of strawberry, blueberry grapefruit and white chocolate.

Tasting notes:

Color: pale golden yellow.

Aroma: Delicate notes of Sherry come to the nose, with sweet aromas of toffee and banana. There are hints of lemon and citrus fruits.

Taste: Macallan 12 Years Old Double Cask is at first spicy and spicy, then leaves notes of pear, pineapple, citrus fruits, milk chocolate.

Macallan 12 Years Old Double Cask is to be combined with a wonderful Cohiba Magicos cigar or a P2 partagas.
