Habitation Velier, the House of Pure Single Rum, the world's only Pure Single Rum range from different distilleries.
But the reason for the project is far more than merely commercial: the Habitation Velier range is born with a vocational vocation to enhance artisan distillation and the art and technique of the distillator.
Pure Single Rum was born from the classification launched by Luca Gargano and then distributed with the distiller Richard Seale, which distinguishes rum by distillation method and therefore with objective identification.
Last Ward 2007 is distilled at Mount Gay Rum Refinery in triple distillation pot still by Frank Ward's experience and creativity, and aged in ex bourbon.
After a ripening of 10 years under the Barbados sun in Bourbon barrels it expresses with power and complexity: the nose scents of fruit, vanilla and sweet spices; the palate is soft, warm and of great complexity.
Full Proof bottled at 64%.
The name is a tribute to Frank Ward's former owner of the distillery before the acquisition by Remy Cointreau.
