Evan Williams Single Barrel 9 y.o. — Signature Kentucky Bourbon.

Evan Williams Single Barrel 9 Year Old is a single-barrel bourbon, expressing the concentration and elegance typical of Kentucky.

Each bottle reflects the unique character of its original barrel, offering a rich and complex profile designed for the discerning enthusiast.

This vintage release from Heaven Hill is a real bargain, a vintage bourbon aged for 9 years in a single barrel and bottled at full strength, 43 proof.

Aged for 9 years in single oak barrels, it is bottled at a relatively low alcohol content, somewhat bucking the current trend.

Bright nutmeg aromas and rich caramel give way to a rounded, full-bodied palate.

Everything about this bourbon is accessible, from its ABV to its price.

Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc. is a family-owned company in Kentucky.

Founded in 1934 by the Shapira brothers, it is the largest independent distillery currently operating in the US spirits market.

Today, over 900,000 barrels are stored in its Louisville facilities, under the supervision of Master Distiller Craig Beam (descendant of the legendary "Jim" Beam).

Also available is the Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage, a full 43% ABV.

Evan Williams Single Barrel is a vintage produced from a single barrel and aged for 9 years. It is produced in limited quantities and has won the "Whisky of the Year" award five times.

A premium gift, a tasting bottle for collectors or for celebratory occasions and vertical tastings.

    Tasting Notes:

Color: Deep amber with golden highlights.

Nose: Intense notes of vanilla, caramel, toasted wood, honey, and fruity notes (dried plum, baked apple), with light sweet spices.

Palate: Full and warm on the palate, rounded body, balanced between sweetness (maple syrup, caramel) and toasted/woody notes; long and persistent finish with hints of vanilla and spice.

It pairs well with dark chocolate, caramel or nut-based desserts, aged cheeses, and smoked grilled meats. Excellent as a contemplative after-dinner sip.
