Roberto Ascorti personally selects the root blocks, which he buys from three suppliers including Liguria by Mimmo Romero.
Root blocks are left to dry in the air of the Cucciago workshop where Ascorti periodically checks the maturation, verifying also the color and weight.
No block is used before 3 years of aging and if not perfect.
For this reason its pipes are very light, have no plaster or defect, and the smoke is dry.
All Ascorti pipes are carved by hand and the brazier and stem hole are manually made with extreme precision.
The pipe mouthpieces are handmade by high quality or cumberland ebony, perfectly fused with the body of the pipe.
