This first limited edition of Rum single barrel Chamarel bottled full-bodied.
On the occasion of the 70 years of Velier, the Italian importer of Chamarel, Luca Gargano selected two ex cognac barrels.
The i27 and i28 barrels previously used for cognac contained an exceptional agricultural rum.
The two barrels contained distilled rum chamarel in 2011 and aged under the sun of the island of Mauritius 6 years.
Of this precious agricultural rum on the island of Mauritius, only 558 bottles were produced.
Rum single pure agricultural rum Chamarel was bottled in 2017.
Use sugar cane grown on land owned by the distillery, a unique variety, collected at the height of their sweetness in September 2011.

In addition, for the first time on the island, the law envisages bottling of rum at 40 degrees and the Chamarel Single rum farm 2011 is full proof with an alcohol content of 55.5%.
Another peculiarity is the label of this limited edition Chamarel Single rum farm 2011 70th Velier, designed by artist Warren Khong.
Notes Tasting:
Fragrance: Explosion of flavor with abundant notes of vanilla, coconut and pear. Floral feelings.
Palate: vibrant with a good balance between dry tannins, sweetness of honey and vanilla. Deep woody and spicy aromas.
Finale: Persistent and soft like velvet.
