A 31-year-old single malt whisky from the Glenrothes distillery! A rarity!
If we then add that it was aged by the masters of Signatory Vintage, it becomes an exceptional whisky!
If we add that the cask distilled in 1985 was selected by Luca Gargano of Velier to celebrate the company's 70th anniversary, this whisky becomes a treasure!
For Velier's 70th anniversary, president Luca Gargano created a line of whiskies to celebrate his four daughters.
This 31-year-old Glenrothes whisky is dedicated to Maria Margaux... born in 1985!
Glenrothes is in a rather unique situation: the distillery is owned and operated by Edrington, but the brand has been owned by the famous wine and spirits merchant Berry Bros & Rudd since 2010.
Only 2% of production goes into single malts, a very rare whisky... liquid gold!
The Glenrothes 1985 31-year-old Four Daughters 70th Velier whisky was bottled in 2017 in just 127 bottles.
