On the 70th anniversary of the Velier, President Luca Gargano wanted to create a whiskey line to celebrate his four daughters.
This 31-year-old Glenrothes whiskey is dedicated to Maria Margaux .. born in 1985!
Glenrothes is in a particularly peculiar situation: Distillery is owned and run by Edrington but the brand belongs to the famous Berry Bros & Rudd wine and distillate brand since 2010.
Only 2% of the production ends in single malt, a very rare whiskey ... liquid gold!
Glenrothes Whiskey 1985 of 31 years Four Daughters 70th Velier was bottled in 2017 in only 127 bottles.
 

Notes Tasting:
Color: golden.
Aroma: decisive with American oak notes, vanilla and smell of plums, red fruit.
Flavor: Very smooth, genuine with notes full of malt, vanilla and orange peel.
Finale: Long, unforgettable slightly spicy and with hints of barley.
