Vittorio ‘Gianni’ Capovilla is recognized worldwide as one of the best, if not the best, distiller in the world, especially for his passion: fruit distillates, rums and grappas.

Capovilla defines his excellent grappas as the noble expression of a "poor" product.

The Isabella grape distillate is a Moscato grape fruit distillate obtained by double-pass distillation in small copper bain-marie stills.

Vittorio has made the excellence of the raw material and the purity of the distillates his true reason for living.

Only Moscato grapes from vineyards near the Breganze area are selected.

The fresh grapes are destemmed and fermented as is done with red wines, at the end of fermentation the entire fermented must is distilled.

This Moscato grape distillate is colorless, clear and crystalline.

The Capovilla Moscato grape distillate obtained is full of aromas, perfumes and in the mouth it is an explosion of sweetness.

The product rests for at least 2 years in stainless steel tanks.

It is then bottled, diluted with spring water and brought to a strength of 41% vol. without adding sugars, aromas or anything else.

Tasting Notes:

Aromas: The nose expresses intense, clean, pleasant, refined and elegant aromas of grapes, banana, pear, apple, hazelnut, orange blossom and peach, with an imperceptible pungency of alcohol.

Taste: In the mouth it is intense with a perceptible alcohol pungency that tends to dissolve quickly, excellent correspondence with the nose, pleasant softness, very balanced.

The finish is very persistent with long memories of citrus and grapes.
