The Ser Jacopo Insanus number 4 is an extravagant tobacco pipe that hides a secret... at first glance it looks like a normal straight Billiard pipe, but it is smoked backwards!
Discover with us the beautiful Ser Jacopo Insanus pipe number 4!
Ser Jacopo was founded by Giancarlo Guidi and Bruto Sordini in 1984.
Following Sordini's departure it was led by Guidi alone.
It comes from Mastro de Paja and, in the same laboratory where the pipe was born in Pesaro, creates Ser Jacopo della Gemma.
Once again a brilliant idea in the choice of name and logo: a painting that portrays an ancient nobleman, a high-sounding name Ser Jacopone, Ser Jacopo is more immediately perceptible and once again the name is immediately imprinted in the public's memory, as well as the logo it represents.
Ser Jacopo's pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of long and patient workmanship or madness!
Characteristic of Ser Jacopo's pipes is their free, imaginative, artistic shape, balance and practicality.
The Insanus line of pipes is made up of the craziest, most imaginative and particular Ser Jacopo pipes.
Ser Jacopo Insanus the craziest smoking pipes in the world!
Classic or modern, they are carved in the most selected and precious briar, here marked R2.
Here we have the pipe that is smoked upside down.
In all respects it looks like a classic rusticated briar pipe but it is smoked backwards.
Where the foot of the pipe should be is the opening of the pipe chimney.
To smoke you need to rotate the Ser Jacopo Insanus pipe 180 degrees.
But this is not the case, the Insanus number 4 billiard pipe upside down is perfectly functional and the stem hole is unique L-shaped.
The long and massive mouthpiece has a diameter of 10 mm and can contain an adapter or a 9 mm filter to reduce harmful tobacco substances.
The mouthpiece has J symbols on both sides in order to mislead the inattentive observer.
Each Ser Jacopo pipe is a unique and unrepeatable piece and the photos you see portray this exclusive pipe, once purchased it will be removed from the catalogue.
If you need more detailed photos, we will be happy to send them to you.
