Whiskey the Arran private cask Beija Flor 6 years old, Hevely peated bourbon barrel.
Bottling reserved and dedicated to the Beija Flor importer from a 100% Bourbon Single Cask, with a strongly peaty and very strong taste.
A very peated Arran limited edition whiskey with an exceptional quality/price ratio.
The choice of selected barrels and the sweet maritime climate of the Isle of Arran contribute to the maturation of the single malt which is bottled without the addition of caramel.
The Arran Single Cask selected this year by Beija-flor is the Bourbon Barrel N.1847 distilled on 05 October 2011.
After 6 years of aging it was bottled on 16 October 2017 at the natural level of 58.2% and only 255 bottles were obtained.
The use of barrels previously used for peated bourbons gives intensity and smoky flavors to this Beija Flor whisky.
When tasting the Whiskey Arran private cask Beija Flor 6 years old, it can be accompanied with an exceptional cigar such as Toscano Originale Millesimato or with an excellent Cohiba SigloII.
