Located in Bouteville since the 17th century, the Maison Paul Giraud perpetuates from father to son a legacy of tradition of cognac distillers.

This succession of generations of the Giraud family and a large stock of old cognacs are the elements that today allow the Maison Giraud to guarantee a constant quality and to offer rare spirits.
For the 70th anniversary of Velier, the Italian distributor of cognac Giraud, the limited edition "fin du siècle" 1999 was created.
The old reserve cognac fin du siècle 70th Velier is a more elaborate vintage with a distinctive flavor that starts with fragrances plus fresh fruit, apricot and peach.
A cognac of another era, distilled in 1999 in Bouteville, in Grand Champagne by Paul Giraud, a true bouilleur de cru and one of the last cognac purists.
A man who worked the land for many years, with his eyes.
The cognac reserve 1999 fin du siècle 70th Velier was bottled in 201, after 18 years of aging, in only 1200 bottles in the world.

Tasting Notes:
Golden color.
On the nose it expresses fruity and powerful notes of apricot, pear, apple and cooked fruit, alongside strong wooden notes.
In the mouth has a good structure, with an oak aftertaste. Excellent balance and persistence.
