Karukea Rum represents true excellence, still rooted in the artisanal traditions of distillation.
Only the finest cane is used in its production, particularly the renowned blue cane.
The Karukera 2008 Agricole Rum is the result of careful distillation and extensive aging in cask 66.
From cask 26, this Karukera was aged in French oak barrels at the Marquisat de Sainte Marie estate in Guadeloupe.
Distilled in 2008, it was specially selected by Luca Gargano to be bottled on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Maison Velier.
The Karukera Single Cask 2008 selected from cask 66 is a remarkably complex and continually evolving agricultural rum.
It changes in the glass as the minutes pass, offering fruity, mineral, vegetal, and empyreumatic sensations.
A barrel-proof rum that certainly never gets old and will continue to gain in value among collectors.
The Karukera Single Cask 2008, produced in 66 bottles for 70th Velier, was produced in only 299 worldwide.
