Ser Jacopo Insanus N.7 stand up smoking pipe with handle

Ser Jacopo was founded by Giancarlo Guidi and Bruto Sordini in 1984.

Following Sordini's departure it was led by Guidi alone.

It comes from Mastro de Paja and, in the same laboratory where the pipe was born in Pesaro, creates Ser Jacopo della Gemma.

Once again a brilliant idea in the choice of name and logo: a painting that portrays an ancient nobleman, a high-sounding name Ser Jacopone, Ser Jacopo is more immediately perceptible and once again the name is immediately imprinted in the public's memory, as well as the logo it represents.

Ser Jacopo's pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of long and patient workmanship or madness!

Classic or modern, they are carved in the most selected and precious briar.

Very particular with octagonal chimney and handle, it is comfortable to handle.

The shape of the Ser Jacopo Insanus 7 recalls a very original, new, innovative stand up.

Here we have the pipe shaped like a coffee cup.

The pipe stem is housed in the curved handle and is connected to a very short black methacrylate mouthpiece.

Operation and draft would seem impossible.

But this is not the case, the Insanus 7 pipe is perfectly functional and the stem hole is only transverse.

The short mouthpiece has a diameter of 18 mm, equipped with a small expansion chamber.

The expansion chamber allows the humidity of tobacco smoke to be reduced.
