Poli due barili grappa is a new way of understanding grappa refined in barrels.
It was born from the innovative idea of the Poli brothers of Schiavon, to use a first French oak barrel for aging and then refine this grappa with a passage in ex-sherry barrels.
Due Barili has a particularly rich and soft flavor, thanks to a harmonious blend of Grappa da Prosecco and pure pomace with a floral aroma and thanks to the double aging in two different types of barrels: at least two years in 225-liter French oak barriques and at least two years in PX Sherry barrels.
It starts from a blend of Grappa da Prosecco and pure pomace with a floral aroma distilled by hand with Crysopea, a vacuum bain-marie still.
The vacuum distillation keeps the aromas and perfumes of the pomace intact and reduces the methyl alcohol.
Poli's Due Barili Grappa is packaged in a wonderful wooden box, complete with an illustrative brochure of the product.

Tasting Notes:
Color: Apples with amber reflections.
Fragrances: It opens to the nose with hints of fresh exotic fruit: mango and pineapple above all. You can perceive aromas of licorice, biscuits and custard.
Taste: The tasting is clean and balanced, with notes of fresh wood and aromas of sherry and Boero.
The aftertaste is long-lasting and still lets nuances of cherries emerge.
