The Longrow Peated is a very interesting whiky.

The Longrow Peated whiskey is placed in a segment far from the pips of Islay, it is able to release a perceivable but never invasive porous component, which does not overpower the other aromatic components, well defined and structured.
The intensity is excellent and the product is well balanced.

Longrow is the "porbed brother" of Springbank, historic Campbeltown distillery.
Longrow whiskeys are characterized by the tibbling, Peated Anglo-Saxon technical term.
In production since 1973, it has a contained production and less than a hundred barrels are filled annually to give life to this scotch.
The Longrow Peated is the basic version, without declared age.
The aging in ex-bourbon barrels is perceptible in the aromas of vanilla and cocoa.

Tasting notes:
Nose: opens with notes of peat and salted butter, all accompanied by spicy tips of black pepper. Citrus fruit and lemon custard are added after a few moments.
Palate: you can feel peat, which is not particularly marked. The aromatic palette consists of yellow vanilla fruit and a mix of spicy spices.
Final: very prolonged. Spice up spices, peat, minerals, yellow fruit, hazelnut and aromatic herbs.
We recommend combining the Longrow Peated whiskey with an excellent Stortignacolo Mastro Tornabuoni, while for fans of slow smoke with Enrimore Latakia.
