Peterson Aran XL02 Bent Apple smooth Fishtail

An iconic Irish tobacco pipe produced by Peterson for the avid smoker or the novice.

Made of shiny dark briar, it has an iconic Bent Apple shape called XL02, curved and massive, muscular.

The Peterson XL02 shape combines the classic curved Apple shape with a wide and deep bowl with a sturdy stem and a comfortable, very curved vulcanite mouthpiece.

The entry-level Peterson Aran line of pipes first appeared in 1965.

The Peterson Aran series of pipes has since become a staple of the Classic range, offering a variety of traditional, non-System Peterson shapes at an affordable price.

The Aran Smooth highlights that classic aesthetic with a warm medium walnut tint.

Peterson's pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of long and patient processing at the headquarters south of Dublin, where one of the oldest pipe factories in the world is located: Peterson of Dublin.

Characteristic of Peterson pipes is the classic, harmonious shape, elegance and practicality.

They are carved from the most selected and precious briar.

The processing of the briar is very particular, handmade, polished with natural materials.

Of note in this Peterson Aran XL02 model is the muscular elegance generated by the combination of the dark briar and the curved mouthpiece which enhances the entire body of the pipe.

The external finish may vary slightly from the image as each Peterson briar pipe is a unique piece.
