The Peterson nickel cap series is a selection of the classic vintage models of the Peterson manufacture embellished with a worked cover from K & P
The Irishman Charles Peterson began producing briar pipes and in 1890 discovered the famous reservoir system.
It is a tank in the torch under the head that has the task of keeping the tobacco dry.
All the humidity - this is the goal - is conveyed into the tank.
Peterson's pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of a long and patient processing at the headquarters in the south of Dublin, where one of the world's oldest pipe factories is located: the Peterson of Dublin.
Characteristic of Peterson's pipes is the classic, harmonious form, elegance and practicality.
The shape of this Peterson stand up pipe is sipira to a barrel, to a small barrel and therefore has a good flat base of support.
The Peterson Nickel cap is fitted with a K & P branded wind cover.
They are carved in the most selected and valuable briar, only 33 grams are very light.
The color of the briar is natural, so as to enhance the veins of the root that surround the small barrel body of the Peterson Nickel cap.
Note the long and slim mouthpiece in black methacrylate, with a palatal mouthpiece tooth that directs the smoke on the palate rather than on the tongue.
The palatal mouthpiece used almost exclusively by Peterson Vintage.
Each pipe of Peterson of Dublin is a unique and unrepeatable piece and the photos you see portray this exclusive pipe, the same, once purchased, will be removed from the catalog.
If you need more detailed photos, we will be happy to send them to you.
