The Varela Hermanos distillery has succeeded, with a tradition and an experience of more than 100 years, to combine the variety of Panama in an aged rum.
The maturation of the Abuelo rum plays a fundamental role and takes place not only in old bourbon barrels, but also with the Solera method.
The result is Abuelo rum 7 years, one of the most discussed rum in the bars of the United States, Spain and London.
Tasting Notes:
Color: Ron Abuelo 7 Años is golden amber in color.
Perfumes: The nose is reminiscent of floral components, touched by a delicate sweetness and made perfect with vanilla and caramel. The echo is persistent and slightly spicy.
Taste: Blended of superb rum aged for 7 years in small and selected oak barrels.
Over the years this rum has acquired a round and unusual taste, intense amber color, aromas of walnut and very rich caramel, followed by notes of leather and tobacco.
