The Irishman Charles Peterson began producing briar pipes and in 1890 discovered the famous reservoir system.
It is a tank in the torch under the head that has the task of keeping the tobacco dry.
All the humidity - this is the goal - is conveyed into the tank.
Peterson's pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of a long and patient processing at the headquarters in the south of Dublin, where one of the world's oldest pipe factories is located: the Peterson of Dublin.
Characteristic of the Peterson Ashford Army pipes is the classic, harmonious form, elegance and practicality.
Peterson Ashford Army pipes are carved in the most selected and valuable briarwood and embellished with a silver ring.
Note in this model the design of the veins of the root that surrounds the whole body of the pipe.
The briar is enhanced by an 11 mm silver ring engraved with the Peterson brands.
