Peterson Speciality Rusticated Nickel Tankard P-Lip

The series of Peterson specialty nickel mounted Irish pipes is a selection of the classic vintage models of the Peterson manufacture embellished with a ring nut and palatal mouthpiece.

Here we have the model with the classic stand up Tankard shape with the long and slightly curved mouthpiece.

A pipe with balanced dimensions, perfect, very light, made of rustic briar and with the iconic color of the Irish Peterson pipe manufacture!

Irishman Charles Peterson began making briar pipes and discovered the famous reservoir system in 1890.

This is a reservoir in the stem under the head that has the task of keeping the tobacco dry.

All the moisture – this is the goal – is channeled into the tank.

Peterson's pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of long and patient processing at the headquarters south of Dublin, where one of the oldest pipe factories in the world is located: Peterson of Dublin.

The characteristic of Peterson pipes is the classic, harmonious shape, elegance and practicality.

The shape of this Peterson stand up Tankard pipe is inspired by a cylindrical poker, a small cylinder and therefore has a good flat base.

The mounted Peterson Specialty Tankard P-Lip Nickel pipe is equipped with a Peterson branded chrome ferrule.

They are carved from the most selected and precious briar and are very light at only 32 grams.

The color of the briar is dark, so as to enhance the rustic finish of the briar that envelops the small barrel body of the mounted Peterson Tankard Nickel pipe.

Note the long and slender black vulcanite mouthpiece, slightly curved with a palatal mouthpiece tooth that directs the smoke onto the palate rather than the tongue.

The palatal mouthpiece used almost exclusively by Peterson Vintage.

The external finish may vary slightly from the image as each Peterson briar pipe is a unique piece.

The variations are intended only in the shades of the briar, the measurements and shape do not vary.
