The line of Peterson Ashford Army tobacco pipes with silver ferrule is the best known and most representative line in the Peterson of Doublin production.
Peterson Ashford Army dark briar with silver ferrule is always elegant and fashionable, an immortal pipe, a symbol.
The Irishman Charles Peterson began producing briar pipes and in 1890 discovered the famous reservoir system.
It is a tank in the torch under the head which has the task of keeping the tobacco dry.
All the humidity – this is the goal – is channeled into the tank.
Peterson's pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of a long and patient process at the headquarters in the south of Dublin, where one of the oldest pipe factories in the world is located: the Peterson of Dublin.
Characteristic of Peterson Ashford Army pipes is the classic, harmonious shape, elegance and practicality.
Peterson Ashford Army pipes are carved in the most selected and precious briar and embellished with a silver ferrule.
Note the curved design in this Oom Paul or Hungarian model, and the stem is very vertical to the bowl.
The Peterson Hungarian model pipe is very balanced and can be held in the mouth without tiring.
The briar is enhanced by an 11 mm silver bezel engraved with the Peterson trademarks.
The external finish may vary slightly from the image as each Peterson briar pipe is a unique piece.
The variations are intended only in the nuances of the briar, the measurements and the shape do not vary.
