Antigua Distillery's Antigua Heavy Rum "English Harbor 2012" is a rum with an unusual level of esters due to the standards of the Antigua distillery.
A full grade rum aged in single distilled barrel 2012, coming from the Antigua Distillery, selected by Luca "Ruruki" Gargano.
This rum is produced on the island of Antigua, in the Caribbean.
On 20 June 2017 Luca Gargano went to Antigua hoping to find something special among the 4000 barrels in stock at the Antigua Distillery.
Destiny has wished that due to a break of the coffey still column, a fermentation ready for distillation has remained a few extra days in the fermentation vats.
This long fermentation has modified the aromas and flavors of the liquor to be distilled producing a rum with a level of esters that is absolutely unusual for the distillery standards.
A rum with 218 g / hlpa congeners, which makes it extremely tasty and with a heavy alcohol content of Vol.66% ABV.
