The Longrow Sherrywood 14 years is a limited edition whiskey produced in only 9000 bottles.

Distilled in September 2003, it was bottled in 2018 to full-blown alpha.
14 years of aging in highly selected ex Oloroso sherry barrels give this Longrow peated whiskey a fullness of taste without comparison.
The 14-year-old Longrow Sherrywood whiskey is located in a segment far from the pans of Islay, it is able to release a perceived but never invasive porous component, which does not dominate the other aromatic components, well defined and structured.
The intensity is excellent and the product is well balanced.

Tasting notes:
Nose: opens with notes of peat and salted butter, all accompanied by spicy tips of black pepper. Citrus and custard are added after a few moments.
Palate: you can feel peat, which is not particularly marked. The aromatic palette consists of red fruit, vanilla and a mix of spicy spices.
Final: very prolonged. Spice up spices, peat, minerals, red fruit, hazelnut and aromatic herbs.
We recommend combining the 14-year-old Longrow Sherrywood whiskey with an excellent Stortignacolo Mastro Tornabuoni, while for fans of slow smoke with Enrimore Latakia.
