The Glenfarclas distillery was founded in the 1930s in the verdant Scottish valley of Speyside. The property was purchased in 1865 by John Grant and passed down to his descendants, making it, to this day, an independent business much loved by whisky fans.

In his famous Whisky Bible, Master Murray writes of Glenfarclas: "Glenfarclas is one of the finest malts distilled in the Highlands. You can't die without tasting at least once a Glenfarclas whisky!"

Glenfarclas comes from the Gaelic and translates to "valley of green grass."

The 30-Year-Old Glenfarclas is a single malt that spends its long maturation period in casks previously used for the production of Oloroso Sherry, making it wonderfully smooth yet with depth of flavor.
