The Longrow aged in Pinot Noir Cask 7 years is a limited edition whisky produced in only 10,000 bottles.

Distilled in September 2017, it was bottled in 2024 at full alcohol content.

Distinctive of Longrow is the highly peated double distillation, thanks to the 48 hours of infusion with the peat.

Four years of aging in highly selected ex-New Zealand Pinot Noir barrels give this peated Longrow whisky smoothness and a fullness of taste without comparison.

The aging of the Longrow red takes place for 4 years in ex-bourbon barrels and then rests for 3 years in ex-pinot noir first fill barrels.

The Longrow Red Pinot Noir 7 Year Limited Edition whisky is positioned in a segment far from the peated ones of Islay, it is able to release a perceptible but never invasive peat component, which does not overwhelm the other aromatic components, well-defined and structured.

Tasting notes:

Nose: it opens with notes of peat and salted butter, all accompanied by spicy hints of black pepper. Citrus fruits and custard are added after a few moments.

Palate: you can feel the peat, which is not particularly marked. The aromatic palette consists of red fruit, vanilla and a mix of hot spices.

Finish: very long. It releases spices, peat, minerals, yellow fruit, hazelnut and aromatic herbs.

We recommend pairing the Longrow Red Pinot Noir 7-year-old whisky with an excellent cigar and milk chocolate.
