This Albion rum was distilled in 2004 in Guyana with a coffey distiller, following the distillation procedures of the Albion distillery.
The Albion distillery has been silent since 1968, it wanted to resume production exceptionally for this rum.
The result is a British style rum, an exceptional heavy rum.
The Albion 2004 rare Collection El Dorado rum is then aged in ex bourbon barrels on tropical weather.
An aging of 13 years that made this Albion 2004 rum from El dorado exceptional.
A rum for collectors, which over time will gain more and more value.
Tasting notes:
Color: amber, intense, dark.
Aroma: Complex, very rich and intense, with hints of exotic fruit, caramel, coffee, spices.
Taste: Savory and dry in the mouth, powerful with vibrant wood notes, sweet spices, nuts like hazelnuts, citrus fruits.
Good balance between the savory notes and the elegant sweetness: full body rum, warm with a soft finish.
For consumption it is suggested to drink it only meditating and perhaps accompanying the rare Albion 2004 El Collection El Dorado rum with a good Davidoff Yamaza cigar or to Cohiba piramides.
