The form and style of Gabriele's pipes range from the classic to the free hand and always with a twist of Dal Fiume's personal style.
Dal Fiume is often inspired by the movements of fish in the water and by the movements of the sea and of nature in general.
Its logo is born from the union between the spirals of the Nautilus and the perfection of the egg, symbol of fertility.
Gabriele selects personally selects the briar blocks, which he buys in Liguria from Mimmo Romeo and in Tuscany.
The briar blocks are left to dry in the air in the workshop where Gabriele Dal Fiume periodically checks the seasoning, checking the color and weight.
No block is used before 6 years of aging.
This is why his pipes are very light and the smoke is dry.
All of Gabriele's pipes are hand-carved and the hole in the brazier and stem are made manually with extreme precision.
Pipe mouthpieces are handcrafted from high quality ebonite or cumberland, often with a hardwood ring or other exotic materials.
Depending on the design of the briar and the creative mood, Gabriele creates smooth, explosive, rustic pipes or any combination that serves to make the pipe artistically unique.
Here we have a classic shaped sandblasted pipe called Pot of the Tartaruga line.
The shape is classic, cylindrical, with a low stove ... Remember a pot and hence the name Pot.
Very beautiful is the pipe stem that ends with a silver ring and the mouthpiece in marbled cumberland.
The mouthpiece is slightly gray and gives balance to the whole tobacco pipe.
The finish is made with a fine sandblasting and a horizontal milling.
Gabriele Dal Fiume annually produces only 30 maximum 40 briar pipes, all unique pieces.
Each Gabriele pipe is a unique and unrepeatable piece and the photos you see portray this exclusive pipe, the same, once purchased, will be removed from the catalog.
If you need more detailed photos, we'll be happy to send them to you.
