Small in size but huge in flavor, the Small Gin by Hayman's has such a richness given by the botanicals that 5ml are enough (or a thimble) to have a perfect and balanced Gin & Tonic, reducing alcohol in an 80% G&T !
Each bottle of Hayman's Small Gin is sold with a branded 5ml thimble hanging from the neck of the bottle, so you can always serve the correct amount of gin.
A single thimble of Small Gin has the same aromatic intensity as 25ml of a normal London Dry Gin: which means that in a 20cl bottle there are as many as 40 doses.
The gradation of Hayman’s Small Gin is 43%.
Tasting notes:
Aroma: Juniper and fresh citrus, with peppery notes in the background.
Palate: Exalting, with intense notes of juniper and citrus fruits, then spices.
Finale: Dry, clean, very mineral and spicy.
Can I use a normal dose of this gin?
We do not recommend it at all. The Small Gin has very intense botanicals, and therefore the 5ml. Recommended are sufficient to give the intensity of flavor of a real Gin.
Using 5 times the recommended dose, not only would the alcohol level be considerably increased, but there would be too marked and different flavors.
