Longrow Peated Whiskey 21 years of aging is finally available.
Longrow single malt whiskey is a special production of Springbank which takes its name from a closed Campbeltown distillery.
The Longrow distillery is famous for the double distillation of its whiskeys but above all it is famous for its highly peated single malts.
Longrow single malt whiskey 21 years is aged in oak barrels and is highly peated.
Springbank normally releases the Longrow in a nice NAS version (the Longrow Peated), flanked every year by limited editions.
Limited editions of Longrow are highly sought after and highly coveted by collectors.
Longrow single malt whiskey 21 years is one of these limited editions.
The Longrow, after double distillation, rests for 48 hours on peat in order to acquire its smoky characteristic.
This latest batch of the 20 year old was bottled in 2020 at full proof, 46 proof, and was aged in a mix of American oak barrels.
As always, Springbank does not color or filter, and appears quite clear to the eye.
Tasting note:

So let's recap: peat, in a mix aged for over 21 years in Scotland and a limited edition that is always highly sought after.
Longrow single malt whiskey 21 years is unique and will acquire great value at future whiskey auctions.
The Longrow single malt 21 years can be combined with an excellent Siglo I by Cohiba.
