Whiskey Glenfarclas Private Reserve 2003 was distilled in 2003 and bottled in November 2011.

Bottled at full 46%, very few bottles have been produced.

The Glenfarclas distillery was born in the thirties in the verdant Scottish valley of Speyside, whose property was purchased in 1865 by John Grant and passed down to his descendants making it, today, an independent reality much loved by Whiskey fans.
Master Murray's of Glenfarclas in his famous Whiskey Bible writes: "Glenfarclas is one of the best distilled malts in the highlands, you cannot die before having tasted a Glenfarclas whiskey at least once!"
Glenfarclas derives from Gaelic and translated means "valley of green grass".
The 8 year old Glenfarclas Private Reserve 2003 is a single malt which spends its long maturation period in barrels previously used for the production of Sherry Oloroso.
This long aging makes it wonderfully soft, but with the depth of flavor.
