Panama Moon import rum was immediately considered among the best rums in the world.

Pepi Mogiardino has surpassed itself in the selection of this ethereal rum.

From the Nicaraguan distilleries a rum distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2018, full of vanilla, exotic and sweet aromas.

The best rums from Nicaragua have been used, expertly aged 19 years in French oak barrels.

Unique rum of its kind, soft and enveloping enhanced by a long aging in new oak barrels in Scotland.

This for sale is the latest release of this splendid product, bottling 2018.

All the Rum of the Moon Import selection come from original barrels, aged in Scotland and individually selected and bottled in the same place, since Scotland is the region of the world where the maturation of alcohol is the best and most regular compared to all other countries.

The color of the Rum from the Moon Import selection is determined by the duration of aging in oak barrels, but also by the product contained in the barrel in its previous use.

For example, if the barrel has contained Sherry for a certain period, the Moon Import Rum will absorb its tannins and will have a darker color than if the barrel previously contained another distillate.

The experience and ability of the Scots in the art of aging Whiskey is crucial in the exaltation of the characteristics of a great Rum.

Tasting Notes:

Perfumes: honey, exotic fruit and vanilla, black pepper, very balanced.
