    • The small barrel is called "quarter", which guarantees greater contact between the distillate and the oak wood of the barrels.

    • Soft, rich and peaty, slightly brackish taste.

    • A great single malt whiskey from the Islay.

    • Great gift idea for whiskey tasters.

Laphroaig single malt whisky is considered the most medicinal malt in Scotland.

In addition, the best-selling Islay single malt in the world is Laphroaig.

It is said that its secret recipe is passed down orally from generation to generation.

The Laphroaig Quarter Cask is brought to maturity by reviving an old tradition: the use of a cask with smaller dimensions than normal.

The small cask is called "quarter", which guarantees greater contact between the distillate and the oak wood of the casks.

The result is a smooth and velvety taste, which is why Laphroaig Quarter cask whisky is an authentic expression of the island of Islay.

it is a peated single malt Scotch whisky that adds to the classic line of single malts of the distillery.

Laphroaig quarter Cask single malt island has a rich taste thanks to the processing of germinated barley that is dried over a peat fire.

This single malt is without indication of aging.

Thanks to the double maturation that takes place in two types of different American oak barrels.

From the standard ex-bourbon barrels the distillate is transferred for its final maturation in smaller barrels and left to rest in warehouse number 1, the oldest of the distillery which is located a stone's throw from the Atlantic coast.

It is this long refinement that creates the characteristic iodine notes that lead to an almost saline finish and with memories of peat smoke.

The smoke of this peat, which is only found on Islay, is its characteristic note.

    Tasting Notes:

    Color: Gold.

Aromas: Fresh with a delicate smoke of sea peat and notes of apple, caramel, honey and citrus with hints of chocolate and vanilla.

Taste: Good body with notes of sea peat, smoked meat, pepper and honey with hints of vanilla and spicy oak.

Finish: Medium length, slightly dry and spicy, with notes of ginger and pepper followed by vanilla and peat smoke.

We recommend pairing the Laphroaig Quarter cask with aromatic cigars from Nicaragua.
