Francesco Ganci is a young Genoese craftsman producer of high quality tobacco pipes.

He began carving pipes relatively late but today he is one of the most popular emerging Italian producers of briar pipes and at the height of success.

Francesco Ganci has had important teachers including his friend Mimmo Romeo.

The reason for his success is due to his ability to masterfully handle tools, chisels and knives, to his pragmatism, to his imagination and to his continuous search for quality.

In complete solitude, drawing inspiration from nature or the surrounding world, in the luthier's laboratory, he thinks and creates his new pipes... true works of art.

He carves the shapes with a knife, by hand, using exclusively Italian briar with its right seasoning provided by Mimmo Romeo.

The minimum seasoning of the briar is 5 years and takes place at controlled temperature and humidity.

Starting from the technical part, to which he gives great importance to have a consistently pleasant smoke, Francesco Ganci creates pipes respecting the grain and design of the briar.

Before producing and marketing a pipe, Francesco Ganci, with the experience of the luthier tastes the softness and flexibility of the briar then as a great passionate smoker tests the shape, the handling, the lines, the angles, the dimensions, the balance of the tobacco pipe.
