Nonino Merlot monovitigno is a prized and refined grappa, with which Nonino begins to enter the magical world of aromatic monovitigno grappas, essential for giving life to complex labels and distillates of the highest quality.

It was 1973 when Nonnino revolutionized the way of making grappa by presenting the Monovitigno Nonino.

The Nonino single variety line was born from the need to create a specific and accurate product, obtained from the distillation of the pomace of a single vine coming from the most suitable production areas.

Today Nonino surpasses himself with this single-variety merlot grappa, producing a grappa starting from the selected marcs of merlot from Friuli, freshly harvested.

A product that fascinates not only the sense of smell and the palate with noteworthy aromas and flavors of red fruits, strawberries and roses, but which also impresses the eye, thanks to an iconic bottle, with its colored caps.

The distillation process takes place with steam, according to the discontinuous method, with the cutting of the head and tail, using some of the copper stills that dominate the scene inside the Percoto distillery.

At the end of the processing, the grappa obtained is left to rest in steel barrels for a short time.

This Grappa Nonino Merlot Monovitigno is a symphony of olfactory sensations that envelops the nose, giving us a range of aromas where red fruits and custard mix with floral nuances, sage and a pinch of vanilla.

Among the Nonino proposals, the single-variety merlot is undoubtedly the more full-bodied, complex and aromatic variant, with a taste so enveloping and captivating that it is acclaimed even by a female audience; if you want to enjoy it at its best, serve it in a previously frozen tulip glass, it will give that extra touch!

Very clear and brilliant, it presents on the nose as in the mouth scented notes of red fruit, together with floral and vegetal tones of sage, in a perfect taste-olfactory correspondence that embraces the palate and leads to a very long vanilla finish.

To be sipped at the end of a rich meal, it will immediately make a banquet!
