This HSE rum is produced in the Distillerie du Simon, Le Francois, Martinique in November 2003 and bottled in 2019.
The rum is distilled from pure sugar cane juice and aged in 400 liter French oak barrels.
The label shows the date of distillation and bottling as well as the bottle number.
HSE 2003 grand vintage Rhum extra Vieux Agricole offers a new balance between power, aromatic intensity and roundness.
Awards: - Silver in 2019 at the Paris General Agriculture Competition.
Tasting Notes:
Dark colour.
Nose: sweet, spicy, hints of cocoa and coffee accompanied by red plums, quinces and cooked fruit.
Taste: Soft and round it offers notes of vanilla, bourbon, wood notes, with a fruity and delicately spiced finish.
Finish: long lasting.
To be considered among the best rums of the year, an excellent discovery.
