Rattray's "The Gambler Gray" short cherrywood shape, is a practical and at the same time elegant pipe.
The story of Rattray's begins in 1903, when the Scottish master blender expert Charles Rattray wanted to set up his own business and realize a dream he had had for a long time: to buy a tobacconist's license and take his place in the old Scottish capital Perth.
Thanks to his knowledge of the art of blending, all efforts soon paid off and Rattray became the benchmark for the best blends.
Later he expanded by launching the Rattray's pipe line, a private brand made of pieces selected from the best productions of some of the most appreciated and consolidated factories abroad.
After more than a century, this still living tradition is flanked by a selected series of pieces made by hand, according to Rattray's detailed requests, by a small workshop of two artisans.
The flat bottom of a Cherrywood or Poker shape is perfect for playing aesthetically.
Rattray's proved it with the lasered metal bottom of the "Glory Day" pipes, which have become a true classic.
Then came "The Judge", with a laser engraved justitia.
In Cherrywood Gambler pipes the bottom is decorated with the Rattray's trademark.
The dark gray color of the briar and the worked bottom of the pipe make Rattray's "The Gambler Gray" pipe very elegant
A nice, compact and light pipe to use every day.
The mouthpiece is designed for the insertion of the filter so as to break down the harmful substances of tobacco.
Note the negative rim to facilitate the charging of the pipe.
Each Rattray's pipe is a unique and unrepeatable piece, the external finish may vary slightly from the image as each briar pipe is a unique piece.
The variations are intended only in the nuances of the briar, the measures and the shape do not vary.
