Amara Caroni, a limited edition in which the scents of Sicily and the heritage of the Caribbean meet, born from the idea of Luca Gargano and Edoardo Strano to bring in Contrada San Martino Piana, between Etna and the sea, some ex- Caroni.
The bitter orange peels that make up the Amaro Amara, enriched by the aromatic scents of Etna, acquire a new identity following an aging of 12 months in barrels that contained the emblematic and precious Rum Caroni.
A gradual, careful and accurate procedure that gives life to 386 bottles of Amara Caroni, a unique liqueur of its kind for its authenticity and originality.
On the slopes of Etna, inside a unique cellar made entirely of lava stone, the characteristic citrus notes of Amara are enriched in softness, roundness and velvety aroma released by the oak wood of which the Caroni barrels are made.
Amara Caroni rested for twelve months in a lava stone cellar at the foot of Etna in five ex-Caroni barrels, enriching itself with the aromas released by American oak and reaching a new state of maturity and softness.
